There’s a lot of different hikes and waterfalls to see in Highlands so we wanted to share some of our favorites!
1. Whiteside Mountain – This is such a pretty hike for all the views. When yoy trek all the way up to the top of mountain and can see 4 states from the top. During the winter months, the trees weren’t full and green, but you can only imagine how beautiful this is during summertime and when the leaves are changing. It’s about 2.5-3 miles long and makes a loop so you won’t go down the same way you came up. This is truly a breaktaking summit and one of the top spots to visit in Highlands!
2. Sunset Rock – This is a pretty quick and easy hike about half a mile long. This is a must see during a clear day at sunset. Hence the name, sunset rock!
3. Glen Falls – This is a more challenging hike but the payoff is beautiful waterfalls and beautiful trails. Just a couple miles from Main street, Glen Falls has been a visitor favorite for many years!
